How to use the traffic circle

In September, 2014, the City of Calgary painted new lines (depicted right) on on the McKenzie Towne traffic circle.

Please review their FAQ page, specifically #5 about the current traffic pattern.

Whether you are new to McKenzie Towne or an established resident, proper navigation of the traffic circles within our community is a large part of our daily routines. Please take the time to become familiar with Alberta traffic laws for safe navigation of the prominent and frequently used traffic circles.

Watch this handy video that explains the basic concept of navigating a traffic circle and is a useful guideline. Applying this basic concept along with following the signs at the traffic circle will help with navigation.
