MTC Adopt-a-Rink

Adopt-a-Rink volunteer program

Adopt-a-Rink is a winter volunteer program through which volunteers help flood and maintain existing community pleasure skating rinks throughout Calgary.

About the Adopt-a-Rink program

The City has over 45 adopted rinks and more than 150 volunteers involved in the program. Adopt-a-Rink is a fun, simple and social program that gives people the opportunity to get together with friends and neighbours to help keep local skating rinks flooded, looking clean and well cared for.

McKenzie Towne Council is looking at getting an Adopt-a-Rink for McKenzie Towne this year!  We are looking for a Lead Volunteer to run the rink and volunteers to help maintain the rink. Any and all training that is needed will be provided.

This Adopt-a-rink is strictly a volunteer run project

The location for this rink will be at 433 McKenzie Towne Drive.
